MCHC's Conference Center is the perfect location for meetings or special events.
The facility offers flexible accommodations, a convenient location and a
cost-effective package for off-site meetings, seminars, planning sessions and
award ceremonies. |

seating styles, to accommodate two to 150 people. Both daytime and evening
hours, and a full line of advanced audio/visual services, are available. In
addition, a wide range of catered snacks and meals are available to complement
the occasion, while personalized service from Council staff assures complete
satisfaction.
Convenient Location
Available to both MCHC members and the public, the Conference Center is located at the Council's headquarters, on the 19th floor
at 222 S. Riverside Plaza. Adjacent to Union Station, the Conference Center is also within blocks of commuter trains arriving at Ogilvie Transportation Center and LaSalle Street Station, as well
as CTA buses and elevated trains. The center's West Loop location (at the southeast corner of Adams at Canal) is easily accessible by major expressways,
and affordable parking is readily available.

Sample Breakfast and Snack Menus
|
All breakfasts include coffee and tea - regular and decaffeinated -
and assorted juices. The Continental Breakfast also includes an assortment of
pastries, muffins and bagels, served with butter, preserves and cream
cheeses, along with fresh fruit. The full breakfast includes scrambled eggs
or frittata, French toast, sausage and bacon, turkey hash, fresh fruit and
assorted yogurts and pastries. |

Sample Lunch and Dinner Menus
MCHC's Conference Center offers 17 different dinner menus to suit any taste. Choices
include grilled, fried or curry chicken; assorted sandwiches, wraps, boxed
lunches or deli trays; pizza; Italian beef and sausage; assorted pastas;
lasagna; Mexican fajitas and accompaniments; beef tenderloin, salmon fillet and
meatloaf.
Room Rental Rates
For non-members half-day rental rates range from $115 to $500, and full-day
rates range from $150 to $700, depending on the size of the room. MCHC members
enjoy discounted rates.

From CTA Trains
Exit the train at the Adams Street (at Wells St.) stop, which is three blocks
east of the Council. There you may connect with one of the following buses,
which will take to you to Adams and Canal Streets (Union Station): 151 Sheridan, 1 Hyde Park, 60 Blue
Island, 123 Union
Station, or 121 Union Station.

Shore Drive
Exit Lake Shore Drive
at East Balbo. West on Balbo to Columbus Drive. Right on Columbus Drive
to Congress Pkwy. Left on Congress to Clark Street. Left on Clark Street to Harrison Street. Right on Harrison to Canal Street. Turn right on Canal and go one
block (south) to traffic light. The parking garage is on the left-hand side of
the street, immediately past the traffic light (Van Buren).
